The Steady Write was designed to help improve handwriting of people who have tremors, arthritis, Parkinson's or other conditions that make fine control of a pen difficult.
A lightweight easy to grasp base supports a pen that can glide across a page, guided by the hand and fingers. Because the Steady Write and hand rest on the paper and desk, shaking motions of the hand are minimized resulting in smother and more flowing writing and drawing. The pen does not have to be held in the hand so it can't be dropped. The pen is angled to allow easier viewing and more flowing writing.
A variety of gripping/grasping methods can comfortably control the Steady Write.
